Paulo Lopes was born and raised in Rotterdam Delfshaven. As the youngest child of Cape Verdean parents, he grew up with a passion for entertainment. After completing his degree in Business Administration, he wholeheartedly pursued his career. Over the past 7 years, he has enjoyed working for large companies, where he was involved in learning and development, project management, and account management. But deep down, he always dreamed of a life in the spotlight!
Fortunately, alongside his business skills, he also developed other talents. Alongside his full-time job, he dabbled in various activities: hosting, content creation, presenting, acting, modeling, and voice-over work. Managing his time was sometimes a challenge, but in the end, he made the decision to quit his job and fully dedicate himself to his career as a presenter, host, actor, model, and voice-over artist.
As a presenter and host, Paulo is active both in front of the camera and in front of live audiences. He has had the privilege of stepping onto impressive stages such as the Amsterdam Rai, Zuidplein Theater, De Doelen, and Maassilo Rotterdam. He even showcased his work at the Noordeinde Palace, where he conducted a workshop for the queen. In these venues, he has introduced various artists, hosted theater shows, and presented corporate events. It’s a fantastic experience to entertain and energize the audience!
Additionally, he is also involved in podcasting. He is the host of the INVLOED podcast and the STEP BY STEP podcast in collaboration with the Banlieue Foundation and Buzinezzclub. In these podcasts, he leads engaging conversations and shares valuable insights and inspiring stories.
As a content creator, Paulo is passionate about crafting unique and captivating content for different brands. Whether it’s videos, reels, or posts, he harnesses his creativity and expertise to create perfect content that aligns with the brand’s identity and target audience. He has had the privilege of collaborating with amazing brands such as Duyvis, Lays, Zalando, Chasin, Zonnebrillen.com, Clan de Banlieue, Storytel, and AA-energy Drink.
But that’s not all! He is also passionate about guiding diverse audiences through Deep Democracy sessions and communication and job application workshops. During these Deep Democracy sessions, they delve into various topics such as inclusion, diversity, social media, mental health, unequal treatment in the job market, and much more. Paulo believes in the importance of awareness and wants to contribute to positive change.
