Wim de Gier

About Wim de Gier

Wim de Gier (born 21 June 1963 in the Netherlands) studied economics and corporate management. He has worked as credit manager, controller, lecturer and project manager for several international companies like MAI computers, IBS, Capgemini and LeasePlan Corporation. Currently he runs international programs in 30 countries. Most recent programs: a global implementation of Social Business in 38 companies and an reporting application for over 200.000 users, including full mobile and trans actual survey possibilities.

Next to his role as Senior Global Project Manager he is a lecturer professor at the Dutch and Belgium Project Management MBA as well as Lead Assessor at the International Project Management Association (IPMA).

Wim is also a well known speaker on project management and social business topics at international congresses: like Amsterdam, Brisbane, Brussels, Boston, Delhi, Edinburgh, London and Orlando.

Wim is living with his wife and three children in the Netherlands and his passion is to jump out of airplanes and fly from mountains with his hang glider in various countries around the globe.
