Inventor of 'beach animals'
Theo Jansen studied Technical Science in Delft, Holland, but he became a painter. Since 1990 he is occupied making a new forms of live. Not pollen or seeds but plastic yellow tubes are used as the basic material of this new nature. He makes skeletons that are able to walk on the wind, so they don’t have to eat. During the years, they became better and the better in surviving circumstances, like storm and water. Eventually he wants to put these animals out in herds on the beaches, so they
