Kuldip Singh is a business economist, chartered controller, Harvard certified data scientist and Harvard certified auditor. He is an experienced executive who has made his mark in leading large digital and data driven transformations in various sectors like consulting, media, energy, health-care etc. He inspires organizations in different sectors, both public and private, with the possibilities of digital technology, concrete practical experience and, most importantly, lessons-learned of how to do it and how not to do it.
Digital transformation is a big container concept, but by tackling it with a practical and structured framework, the glass becomes clear; why we need to move, where the opportunities lie and on which different horizons they should be deployed to future-proof the organization. As an experienced evangelizer of the digital, Kuldip knows how to take all levels of management and get them excited with inspiration from different sectors, but also what can we do tomorrow and how.
After years of management consulting experience, he has been active in various Board roles in leading international media organizations (including Sanoma, Bertelsmann), where he has been at the basis of the disruptive digitalization and internationalization of traditional, online, but also ‘pure play’ digital brands. His digital knowledge and experience were at the basis of the highly successful international, digital, and data-driven strategy of innogy, and later E.ON in 15 countries, with an impact on 50 million customers.
He currently provides his digital and data-driven knowledge and expertise in various Supervisory roles, including KPMG, ROM InWest, De KinderTelefoon and InnoBeweegLab.
He regularly gives very highly rated lectures at major national and international events (re:invent, DDMA Data Day, European Utility Week etc), but is also a regular guest lecturer at various universities, including Nyenrode and St Gallen Business University in Switzerland, in order to share his digital expertise. Furthermore, he is also regularly asked to give specific lectures (e.g. to the broad senior management or CFO function) during inspirational events of organizations on the impact of digital technology.
For his digital and innovative work in the energy sector, he was named “Most Innovative Executive of the Netherlands” by CIO Magazine in 2019 due to the massive social impact it had. In 2018, he was named top 5 Dutch Digital Transformation Executives.

An example of the 3-hour session is my role as a teacher in Ebbinge’s ‘Supervision New Style’ training course for Commissioners and Supervisors. The module addresses the broad topic of sustainability (inc ESG), outlines the need for action, clarifies sustainable leadership, outlines the various developments and implications of regulation and legislation, and outlines the role of the Board in turning sustainability into a competitive benefit from transformational leadership.
