About Javier Fernãndez Aguado

Javier Fernández Aguado, after years of working as a senior manager and then as an entrepreneur, is currently Managing Partner at MindValue Consultant (specializing in professional services for Senior Management) and Professor at the European Forum (Navarra Business School).

He has published over thirty books on Government Organizations and Entrepreneurship and has sold over 250,000 copies. Some of his works have been translated into English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Finnish. Moreover, Javier Fernández Aguado is the only contemporary Spanish author about which where written over two hundred books and essays analyzing his thoughts. He created six models of diagnosis and management-organizational pathologies:

1) Management through Habits

2) Imperfect Management

3) Feelings Management

4) Lead Management

5) Will Management

6) Leadership in Uncertainty

These six pathologies are used by numerous organizations worldwide. As a result to the creation of the models stated, Javier Fernández Aguado, is considered the present leader in Spain on the subject of both management and strategy within organisations. Javier Fernández Aguado has received among many others, the award for Best Lecturer of Economics (Interban Network, 2006), the Peter Drucker Award for Innovation in Management (USA 2008) and the Most Valued Thinker Award (Spain,2006 and 2009). Additionally, his book The Loneliness of the Manager (co-written with Jose Aguilar) was awarded best book of Management in Europe by the British public in 2006.

Hereafter, his training and consulting work has been requested by more than four hundred organizations from thirty different countries. Among them, mainly Spanish insurance groups, multinationals of telephony or the Federal Government of Mexico, Ecuador and Colombia. He has also lectured at some of the most important Business Schools: IE, IESE, ESADE Business School Pacific, Hong Kong Business School, IDDI and so on.

Javier Fernández Aguado is member of an exclusive Club which hosts Spains ten most respected thinkers named Top Ten Management Spain. On the 25th of February 2010 the first international symposium was held in Madrid on the thought of Javier Fernández Aguado. This symposium was atended by 600 professionals from 12 countries from both Europe and the Americas.
