About Eric Viennot

Eric Viennot is a graphic designer, a pioneer in multimedia projects and writes online columns for Le Figaro. He is the creative director of Studio Lexis Numérique, which is one of the largest independent French video game developers.

He studied new media at the University of Paris 1-Panthéon-Sorbonne and after his graduation he taught several years new media at the university. In the beginning of his career he participated in Equipage 10, where he held multimedia expositions in France, Germany, Italy and Denmark. Since 1994 he is participating in many multimedia projects as a graphic designer and art director.

Eric Viennot became international renowned and received many international awards for his creation of ‘The Secret Album of Uncle Ernest’, a collection of CD-ROMs for children adapted in a digital book, where the children could create and adapt the story.

Eric Viennot participated in a numerous productions for the youth, including several adaptations of films or famous tales like: ‘Les aventures du poisson Arc-en-ciel’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘E.T.’ and ‘Jungle Book’.

In 2007 he received the ‘Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres’ from the Ministry of Culture for his outstanding work and contribution.
