Born in the historic city of Vienna, Julian Eberling’s journey began with a solid foundation at a commercial academy in V\u00f6cklabruck, Austria (where he preferred spending time as a school spokesman or as an actor in the theater group). His early career saw him stepping into the role of a keynote speaker and project manager for a non-profit project in Kenya, a role that not only honed his speaking skills but also ignited his passion for impactful work. His academic pursuits led him to the Management Center Innsbruck and Stellenbosch University in South Africa, where he delved into Management, Communication & IT.<\/p>\n
Julian’s entry into the innovation world was marked by transformative years in the start-up scene, focusing on process and business model innovations. This experience was a springboard into a more expansive role within an Austrian IT system house. Here, he was instrumental in new business development, nurturing mobile services, and establishing a pivotal partnership with Apple.<\/p>\n
As his career progressed, Julian jumped into consulting and took on the role of Senior Innovation Manager at LEAD Innovation. His responsibilities expanded to conducting innovation training sessions, delivering keynotes, and managing projects centered around innovation strategy, product, and service innovation.
\nIn a significant shift, Julian became the Head of Relationship Management at TheVentury. In this capacity, he coached startups, empowered entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs, and assisted companies in scaling through innovation management, growth marketing, data, and software engineering.<\/p>\n
Embracing his entrepreneurial spirit, Julian founded dockyard.ventures, focusing on training, keynotes, strategic innovation projects, and creating new companies that bring joy. His project experience is diverse, spanning industries such as sports, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, packaging, and consumer goods.<\/p>\n
Julian’s commitment to making a difference led to the establishment of his
\nfoundation, “Fahari,” which supports female entrepreneurs in the slums of Africa to realize their visions. As the Austrian director of “La Futura,” he connects with futurists globally, researching and shaping the world of tomorrow.<\/p>\n
A notable highlight in Julian’s career was in 2020 when he co-developed the successful startup LEAD Horizon. He was pivotal in shaping its structure, processes, and products, driving the company from a mere idea to significant market success and sales within just 12 months.<\/p>\n
