Emilie Rouaud has a degree in international studies and a master’s degree in educational psychology. After several expatriations around the world, she meets “gifted children”, also called “high potential children”. Interrupted by their atypical functioning, she quickly became passionate about these children. She began a career in education to work toward their full potential.<\/p>\n
Since 2015, she is involved in the field of giftedness in several ways: academically, professionally and voluntarily! She is a student-researcher in psychopedagogy at the University of Montreal and is interested in the success of gifted students and their academic experience.<\/p>\n
In 2017, she is offered a position of project manager in giftedness. The SEUR Project of the University of Montreal gives her the mandate to develop a unique educational program. Enrichment, conferences, mentoring and custom projects are implemented to support more than an hundred talented students.<\/p>\n
Professionally, she holds several positions at the University of Montreal: she is an eductional project manager in giftedness for the SEUR Project, lecturer in special education and trainer in giftedness for the continuous training, ContinUum.<\/p>\n
Whether through training, conferences or counseling with schools, Emilie tries to demystify giftedness and passionately shares the psychological and pedagogical resources available to these young people.<\/p>\n
Finally, with the help of Patrick Lopez and Karel Luap, she co-developed a “young adults – HPQ” section for the Haut Potentiel Quebec association. The goal? Create a network of talented young adults to develop the potential and talent of everyone!<\/p>\n
Recipient of 17 awards and scholarships, both nationally and internationally, regularly interviewed in the media, Emilie has quickly emerged as a captivating speaker. Mixing with dynamism science and practical cases, she brings a new light on the notions of giftedness, potential and talent. The whole is always presented in a global vision that serves everyone: as well in terms of education as of society.<\/p>\n

Elle commence alors une carri\u00e8re en \u00e9ducation afin d\u2019oeuvrer \u00e0 l\u2019atteinte de leur plein potentiel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Depuis 2015, est impliqu\u00e9e dans le domaine de la douance \u00e0 plusieurs titres : acad\u00e9miquement, professionnellement et b\u00e9n\u00e9volement !\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Elle est \u00e9tudiante-chercheuse en psychop\u00e9dagogie \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al et s\u2019int\u00e9resse \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite des \u00e9l\u00e8ves dou\u00e9s et \u00e0 leur exp\u00e9rience scolaire.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n En 2017, on lui offre un poste de charg\u00e9e de projets p\u00e9dagogiques en douance. Le Projet SEUR de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al lui donne pour mandat le d\u00e9veloppement d’un programme p\u00e9dagogique unique. Enrichissement, conf\u00e9rences, mentorat et projets personnalis\u00e9s sont mis en oeuvre pour soutenir une centaine d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves dou\u00e9s.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Professionnellement, elle occupe plusieurs postes \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al : elle est charg\u00e9e de projets p\u00e9dagogiques en douance pour le Projet SEUR, charg\u00e9e de cours en adaptation scolaire et formatrice en douance pour la formation continue, ContinUum.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Que ce soit par la formation, les conf\u00e9rences ou son activit\u00e9 de conseil aupr\u00e8s des \u00e9coles, \u00c9milie tente de d\u00e9mythifier la douance et partage avec passion les ressources psychologiques et p\u00e9dagogiques disponibles pour ces jeunes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Enfin, avec l\u2019aide de Patrick Lopez et Karel Luap, elle a co-d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une section \u00ab jeunes adultes – HPQ \u00bb pour l\u2019association Haut Potentiel Qu\u00e9bec. Le but ?
