Michiel Muller studied economics in Rotterdam and after a career at ExxonMobil, he and founder Marc Schr\u00f6der built the gasoline chain Tango into an international success. After selling Tango, he founded Route Mobiel, Bieden en Wonen and Vault79 with Marc Schr\u00f6der. In 2015, he was co-founder of online supermarket Picnic.<\/p>\n
Muller also serves as an investor\/advisor for IMAgency.com, VONQ, Qandidate.com, LaDress and Apostle, among others. One of his investments was awarded the “Best Start-up 2011” award. His book ‘Ervaringen van een serial entrepreneur’ (‘Experiences of a serial entrepreneur’) appeared in 7th edition and was chosen by the public as best entrepreneurial book 2010\/2011.<\/p>\n
He is a board member of the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship and the Amsterdam Center of Entrepreneurship. Muller’s other positions include supervisory board member of the FD Media Group, chairman of the Erasmus Trust Fund and member of the investment committee of Innovation Quarter, the development company of Zuid-Holland.<\/p>\n
