The former coach led the Dutch Men’s National Volleyball Team for the first time in history to European victory. Later the team qualified for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, became the world’s number one and was announced Sports Team of the Year in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n
Club coach Toon Gerbrands got his team to win the European Cup, which was unique, and, thanks to his special approach and vision, four national titles, two cups and three supercups.<\/p>\n
Toon Gerbrands also is a very experienced and successful corporate manager and interim manager. Under his leadership the city of Harderwijk won an important environmental prize in the Netherlands.
