Studio Roosegaarde

An iconic place where art, technology, and the future come together.

Studio Roosegaarde

In the heart of the Rotterdam harbor area is Studio Roosegaarde, the creative headquarters of artist and innovator Daan Roosegaarde. Here, no meetings are held daily, but instead, visions of the future are designed. The studio is located in a former glass factory from 1937 that Roosegaarde saved from demolition in 2007, and since then, it has undergone an impressive transformation. The result is a unique, independent art studio filled with light and a raw character.

This 400 m² open space breathes light and creativity and is surrounded by a vast garden of 1,750 m² with its own parking facilities. Located in the creative makers’ district M4H Rotterdam, Studio Roosegaarde embodies the power of innovation and sustainability, core values that are also palpable in every event held here.

The location is highly suitable as an event venue in combination with a lecture by artist and innovator Daan Roosegaarde. These lectures give the audience the opportunity to connect with the artist and the powerful message conveyed by his work.
