Miquel Serracanta has >20-year experience in understanding & improving End-to-End Supply Chains in different markets (FMCG, Retail, e-commerce, Pharma, 3PL…). Hard worker for customers & contacts, Miquel devotes his professional time to develop Supply Chain function towards Excellence. He is a business change engine, by using his commitment, passion & knowledge to make business move from current state to optimized one by improving Organization, Processes & Tools.

Experienced global networker, eager to learn from Global Best practices. Currently developing several initiatives to ensure SC professionals open to Global knowledge and collaborate in optimizing SC Networks.

From 1993 to 2009 Miquel was part of Bimbo (Sara Lee Bakery Group) & acted as manager in several positions in SC. From 2003 to 2009 was member of Spain&Portugal Management team, performing roles of VP Supply Chain & Purchasing and VP Sales & Operations Planning (07-09). Miquel has +5-years of teaching & speaking experiences in several Universities & Conferences.

Since Sept.-2.009, Miquel Serracanta is Owner of advisory Services company Solutions decisions for Supply Chain Performance Optimization.

Since April-2010 Miquel acts as President CSCMP Spain Roundtable (Council Supply Chain Management Professionals)

Since Febr.-2014 is Supply Chain Masters Director BCN at EAE Business School

Miquel holds a degree in Economics & MBA for ESADE Business School (BCN) & is Certified Supply Chain Professional for CSCMP (SCPRO-1 & SCPRO-2) and APICS (CSCP)
